Shortest Cycle Time thanks to: Shortest Ramp times, Fastest Respooling speed, Limited Downtime. The POLI series is by no means an icon relating to past markets, but is in actual fact still a standard for quality, excellence and productivity. Today it stands out among its competitors, and compared to data that emerges from research in similar products that come from developing countries, the numerous advantages the POLI offers are obvious. This implies that the same productivity is obtained with 2 POLIs as opposed to 3 of the other machines, 2 operators instead of 3, one less machine to maintain and one third less of the floor- space occupied! Gimax respoolers have another distinctive feature – since before the turn of the century, these machines have been equipped with systems to recover energy. The respooling process has continuous moments of acceleration and deceleration.

The amount of generated heat is influenced by an interaction of factors that include the metal composition, surface preparation, and production equipment. Some of the top features of this machine are the high degree of efficiency in cooling, as well as the perfect alignment of the wire between the capstan and the die-box. The dry drawing machinery can be supplied with capstans fitted vertically or horizontally, and the latter can be either normal or tilted. The initial input diameter of the wire can be as large as 15mm, and the machinery can reduce wire down to 0,5mm, all this depending on the many different wire types or alloys that this line can handle. All the dry drawing benches are manufactured using the most up-to-date technology to meet current industrial standards, which includes indipendently driven capstans, motorized and synchronized by means of a dancer or sensor arm, guaranteeing the highest quality in the process of wire reduction.

The Gimax “TRS” range of non-slip wet drawing units with its independently driven vertical capstans combine most of the benefits of a dry drawing line with a wet one.
