Maruse is an Italian manufacturer specializing exclusively in Italian leather goods of the highest quality craftsmanship since 1980. The company was created in S. Egidio del Monte Albino - a small town on the Amalfi coast of Southern Italy - when our founder became dissatisfied with the quality and design of leather goods that he was selling. Maruse Leather Goods He believed that it was possible to make an excellent product, using fine materials, for a reasonable price. Thus was born a brand new enterprise, which in just a few years rose to prominence at the center of the Italian leather manufacturing industry. Our products are the result of our founder’s devotion to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. Maruse Leather Goods Each product is crafted with care to reflect centuries of Italian artisan tradition and style. We begin with only the finest quality full-grain calf and napa leather sourced directly from Santa Croce sull’Arno, a Tuscan town in the province of Pisa well-known for its centuries-old leather industry. Our production team of highly-skilled Italian craftsmen with at least 10 years of experience in the leather industry then handcrafts each piece using traditional Italian artisan methods.
