La pressa per fusti può compattare barili di olio vuoti e fusti da 220 litri in un disco di acciaio. All'interno della camera della pressa, le scanalature tengono in posizione il fusto durante la compattazione e le punte lo perforano per drenare l'eventuale olio residuo in una vaschetta di raccolta. L’elevato rapporto di compattazione di 5 a 1 assicura alle aziende un enorme risparmio di spazio nei loro siti e in alcuni casi anche un risparmio sui costi di smaltimento. La camera di compattazione, completamente chiusa, è dotata di interruttori di sicurezza installati sullo sportello di carico per un funzionamento sicuro del macchinario. I punti di sollevamento per un carrello elevatore sono integrati nella base del compattatore per fusti in modo da facilitare il trasporto e l'installazione.
